About Me

[Leer en español]

I’m a writer, editor, and translator working at the intersection of culture and politics, human rights, activism, and the environment. My reporting often focuses on Latin America and Spanish-speaking communities in the US.

I’m currently the News Editor at the arts and culture magazine Hyperallergic, which I first joined as a staff writer in December 2019. My reporting and criticism have been published in the Financial Times, the Brooklyn Rail, Jewish Currents, and more, and my translations have appeared in Inside Climate News, Kaiser Health News, and others.

I hold a BA in Art History and a minor in French Literature from the University of Chicago. I earned the Brodsky Scholarship for Latin American Art at Hunter College, where I am (slowly) finishing my MA thesis on the Mexican artist Helen Escobedo.

I was raised in Argentina and Miami, and I now live in New York City with my three cats.
