About Me
I’m a writer, editor, and translator working at the intersection of culture and politics, human rights, activism, and the environment. My reporting often focuses on Latin America and Spanish-speaking communities in the US. I was raised in Argentina and Miami, and I now live in New York City.
I’m currently Senior Editor at the arts and culture magazine Hyperallergic, which I first joined as a staff writer in December 2019. My reporting and criticism have been published in the Financial Times, the Brooklyn Rail, Jewish Currents, and elsewhere, and I’ve translated articles and texts for Inside Climate News, Visual AIDS, and Kaiser Health News, among others.
I hold a BA in Art History and a minor in French Literature from the University of Chicago. I earned the Brodsky Scholarship for Latin American Art at Hunter College, where I am (slowly) finishing my MA thesis on the Mexican artist Helen Escobedo.
